I’ve been following the David Christopher Kempker case for a while now, and something has always seemed off about the entire fishing trip story. I can’t help but wonder about the friend who was with him that day. What do we know about this person? Have they been forthcoming with their version of events or cooperating with the investigation? It just seems strange to be on a fishing trip with no gear. If it was my friend who disappeared under such circumstances, I’d be doing everything possible to provide details. Has anyone seen any interviews or statements from them? Every little bit of information helps in piecing together what might have happened.
Just stumbled across Kempker's case, and something got me thinking about his Toyota truck. As someone who's super into cars, the location where his truck was abandoned seems bizarre. Why just leave it near a road and disappear without a trace? We know he was adventurous, being into extreme sports and all, but doesn't it feel odd that someone used to taking calculated risks would leave his vehicle in such an unusual way? Could it have been parked there by someone else to throw off the investigation? Considering there were no signs of a struggle near the truck, it makes me think there's more to the story. What do y’all think about the truck being found without any further clues—does it hint towards foul play, or am I digging too deep here? ?
Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions around the time David Kempker disappeared? I came across a local news archive reporting some pretty rough weather in the Sherman Island area on March 11-12, 2018, with strong winds and rain, which might have affected visibility and navigation. If he wasn't actually there to fish, as his family suggests, what else might he have been doing in such conditions? Also raises the question about why his truck was parked just off Highway 160. Could the weather have played a part in him getting lost or disoriented? I just feel like these climate conditions might provide more context or maybe even hint at some other scenarios. Just a thought—any weather buffs out there who could weigh in?
