Hey everyone, I’ve been following Donald Michael Alexander’s tragic case, and something that really stands out to me is how vibrant and tight-knit that neighborhood seemed to be. It must be incredibly difficult for those in the community to grapple with what happened on St. Phillip Street. The area looked pretty well-populated, and it makes me wonder about the fear and shock everyone must’ve experienced hearing gunshots so close to home. Has anyone come across any interviews or articles where his neighbors talk about the atmosphere of the area after the incident? I know often the media focuses on the immediate family (understandably so), but the residual impact on a whole community can be profound. It often feels like cases like Donald’s get lost in time, so keeping community voices alive might just help in finding some closure or even new leads. Hoping there's some peace out there for Donald's family and friends.
