Hi everyone, I just wanted to bring some attention to something that's really been bothering me about Charles Collins' case and that whole tragic week in New Orleans back in April 2014. It seems like there was such a rash of violence during that period, and it's just so frustrating to think about how cases like these sometimes struggle to get the attention they deserve due to being one among many. From everything I've read, Charles was just 22, and it's terrible thinking about the future he was robbed of. It’s hard not to feel for his family and friends who are left with unanswered questions. I can't imagine the pain they're feeling, knowing that justice is still pending. Does anyone know if there have been any recent updates on efforts to curb this kind of violence in New Orleans, especially concerning African American communities? I'm hoping there is more support and resources going into preventing such senseless loss in the future. Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated. Stay safe, everyone.
