I've been following the tragic case of Maurilio De La Cruz, and my heart truly goes out to his family, especially to his partner Letty and their five children. What a deep void his passing has left. I've been thinking a lot about how the community has stepped up in the aftermath of this tragedy. The GoFundMe campaign to help with funeral expenses really caught my attention. It's comforting to see people come together in such dark times, a reminder of our capacity for kindness and solidarity. If any of you have donated or shared the campaign, thank you for being part of this support system. While it doesn't bring back a beloved father and partner, it does show his family that they are not alone in their grief. Does anyone know how the community is continuing to rally behind them?
