I've been thinking a lot about the neighbors on Lotus Lane who might have been affected by what happened to Reginald Anthony Johnson. I live in a similar tight-knit community, and I can't imagine waking up to police cars and such a violent scene right on my doorstep. I hope they're finding the support they need during this time. It must be incredibly unsettling to know that something so tragic occurred so close to home. Has anyone heard if local community groups in Bakersfield have stepped in to help the neighborhood heal or if there have been any gatherings or vigils? It seems like they could really use some unity and reassurance right now.
