Has anyone else looked into the surveillance footage from around Brown Street? I’ve been thinking a lot about Jose Maldonado’s case, and it seems like there might be cameras in the area that could have captured something. While it’s been incredibly tough for the community, I keep thinking about how crucial it is for us all to keep looking for potential leads. I can’t imagine the heartache his family is going through, and I hope the Bakersfield Police Department is exploring every possible angle, including revisiting any available security footage. If anyone has connections to businesses or homes there, maybe it’s worth checking if they have cameras. Sometimes small details can make a huge difference in such investigations. Hoping we can keep this discussion going and, ultimately, find some justice for Jose.
I can't stop thinking about Jose's family and the pain they must be going through. It's so unfair that this young boy's life was stolen from him, and his loved ones are left searching for answers. I live in East Bakersfield, too, and knowing that something like this happened so close to home is unnerving. It's hard to feel safe when cases like this go unsolved for so long.

I’ve been following the case of Jose Maldonado and just can’t stop thinking about the impact this has had on his family and friends. It’s beyond comprehension how difficult it must be for them to face each day without answers or justice. ? I noticed that there hasn't been much mention of surveillance footage from businesses or homes in that area. Does anyone know if the police are looking into this or if locals have been encouraged to check their cameras? It seems like having that info could really help, even if it captures anything unusual from earlier in the day. I really hope someone steps forward with something soon.
