Has anyone considered that Kyle might have taken an alternative route to avoid traffic or scenic detours on his way to Rhododendron or Mocus Point Trailhead? I know many folks who use less-traveled paths for those reasons, especially if they’re wanting some solitude or time to think. If he was dealing with personal issues, perhaps he opted for a quieter road where it might take longer for someone to spot his car or notice him missing. Also, I wonder if any service stations along those lesser-known paths have been checked for surveillance footage. It might be a long shot, but it's possible he stopped somewhere off the usual paths. Thoughts?
Has anyone else been following the Kyle Art case? I keep coming back to the fact that there was no sighting of his red Honda Fit anywhere, which seems odd. I know he was last seen in Portland, and there's speculation he was heading to Rhododendron or even Idaho. But in this day and age, how can a car just disappear without a single camera picking it up? I've read posts mentioning his struggle with depression, and I can't help but wonder if there's any connection between that and his potential travel plans. It's as if he vanished without a trace, and it's just so puzzling that neither Kyle nor his vehicle has turned up in all these years. Does anyone think he might have gone off the grid intentionally, or is it more likely that an accident occurred somewhere remote? It's a real mystery.
