I came across Siddell Grant's case recently, and it's absolutely devastating to see how deeply entrenched the violence was in New Orleans back in 2014. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must have felt. I noticed that many cases from that time haven't been resolved, which is incredibly frustrating. It seems like there's a real struggle with getting witnesses to come forward. I'm curious about how community trust in law enforcement might've impacted these investigations. Did any locals ever come together to try and bridge that gap or support families affected by this? It's such a heavy burden for a community to carry, and I hope they found some form of healing and justice over the years.
