Hi everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about the surveillance cameras around the South Side Market area where Scott Demar was tragically killed. With the rise in violence in Stockton, I’m curious if there are any cameras that might have captured the incident or identified potential suspects? It just seems like such a crowded place, and I find it hard to believe that nothing was caught on video. I know sometimes these cases take time, but any additional footage might be crucial. Surely someone knows something or can provide info from nearby businesses. My heart goes out to Scott’s family and everyone affected by this senseless act. We as a community need to keep pushing for answers and support each other during these tough times. Stay safe out there, everyone.

Hey everyone, I've been following Scott Demar's case and just can't shake the unsettling feeling about how common this type of violence has become in Stockton. It's incredibly frustrating to see the community always trying to pick up the pieces, while those responsible keep evading capture. It’s heartening to see local groups like those organizing prayer vigils and community events, but it still seems like there’s a long road ahead to real, lasting peace. I’m particularly curious about what more can be done at a grassroots level to help our community feel safer and actually be safer. Are there other cities that have faced similar issues with violence and found successful community-based solutions? What more can we as residents do beyond attending events to make a tangible difference? Scott’s case remains unsolved, and I just keep thinking about his family having to live every day without answers or justice. Let’s keep supporting each other and share any info or ideas we might have.
