Has anyone else been following the Mendota case? The shooting of Jose Abrego-Guardado and Wilmer Navarro has weighed heavily on my mind. I can't stop thinking about how surreal it must be for the families involved. When crimes like this happen, especially in smaller communities, it really shakes everyone. I've seen a couple of news outlets mention the plea for surveillance footage from locals. It’s reassuring to see the community being proactive and stepping up to help, but it’s also frustrating how no arrests have been made yet. I hope anyone with info, even if it seems minor, reaches out. Every little bit can make a huge difference. Thoughts and prayers are with the families during this unimaginable time.
