Has anyone else heard about sightings of wolves in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness around the time Raymond Ferrieri III and his brother Jesse went missing? I've been following this case closely, and I can't help but wonder if there's more to the story concerning the wolves that initially caused the group to leave their campsite. Was there any official mention of increased wolf activity in that area during May 2018? It seems strange that it would cause such a panic to leave in the dead of night, and I'm curious if anyone local to the area or familiar with wildlife patterns there can shed some light on this. It's been over five years, and wondering about these details might bring us closer to understanding what happened that night. Thoughts or any info would be appreciated!
Has anyone looked into the local wolf activity reports from that night? I remember reading that the group left their campsite because they heard wolves nearby. Could there have been a possibility that the wolves were closer or acting strangely, which prompted them to abandon their campsite so suddenly? It's such an eerie thought. I've heard wolves typically avoid humans, so it makes me wonder if something else spooked them. Maybe there's old news or records on wolf behavior in that area that could shed some light. Any thoughts?
