I've been following Corey Barnett's case closely, and the whole situation is so incredibly sad. Corey was known to help out folks at the homeless camp, and it’s just baffling to think about why anyone would want to harm him. It makes me think about the safety of those living in these vulnerable communities and the risks people like Corey take when they try to make a difference.
The police have been pretty tight-lipped about suspect details, which is understandable since they don't want to jeopardize the investigation. But I can’t help but wonder if there was something more to his visits. Was there a specific reason he was there on Christmas Day? The fact that it happened in broad daylight is unsettling, to say the least. Hoping someone in the area saw something that could lead to a breakthrough in the case.
