Wow, just stumbled across the details of Patrolman John E. Creedon’s case and I can't stop thinking about the bravery it must have taken for him to walk back to the station after being shot - the determination and sense of duty are just incredible. It's such a stark reminder of the risks that officers take every day just to protect others. I can't imagine the heartbreak his family and colleagues went through during those eight days in the hospital. I'm glad to see that justice was eventually served, but it leaves me wondering about the emotional toll on everyone involved, especially since the case dragged on for years before getting any closure. Sending thoughts to his descendants and everyone in Utica who keeps his memory alive.
