Has anyone else been following the details of the Pannavaia brothers' trial? It's both fascinating and chilling to think about how such a dangerous mix of organized crime and illegal liquor distribution led to Agent Stewart's tragic death. I can't imagine the fear and tension those Prohibition agents felt every time they went on an assignment like Stewart did that night. To enter what looked like just another cafe, only to be recognized and ambushed... it’s horrible. I really hope the trial brings some sense of justice for him and his family. This case truly highlights the immense risks law enforcement faced back then in trying to uphold the law amidst such violent resistance. My thoughts are definitely with Stewart’s loved ones during this difficult time. Would love to hear from anyone else who has insights into how this trial is unfolding.
