Has anyone else heard about the ongoing vigils being held by Walter Jackson's family and community? It's really moving to see folks coming together to honor his memory and push for justice. I can only imagine how difficult it must be for them, and it just shows the strength and resilience of his loved ones during such an unimaginable time. It frustrates me that his case is still unresolved, even though it's been so long. The fact that his death is just one of many cases in New Orleans that remain unsolved makes me wonder about what more can be done to support victims' families and address the root causes of violence in the city. If anyone has more updates or knows how we can assist the family, please share. Let's continue the conversation and see if there's any way to help them get the answers they deserve.
I can’t stop thinking about how difficult this must be for Walter Jackson’s friends and family. It’s been almost nine years since the tragedy, and I truly hope they find the answers they’re desperately seeking. I read that the community came together for vigils and continue to support the family—they must be a tight-knit group, and they’ll need each other now more than ever.
It’s so frustrating that even with the NOPD and Crimestoppers involved, the case hasn’t been solved. It feels like there are so many layers to the crime issues in New Orleans, but we can't give up hope. If anyone out there knows something—even the smallest detail—it could make a world of difference. Not just for justice for Walter, but for sending a message that people deserve to feel safe in their own neighborhoods. If you have any info, please consider reaching out to Crimestoppers. Let's keep pushing for answers and try to change the tide of violence in the city.
