Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share some thoughts about the unsolved questions around the tragic violence in the 1970 Albany shooting. It's so difficult to wrap my head around how someone described as a "gentle person" could commit such a horrific act, taking the lives of innocent people like Sandra L. Peters. I've read that Joseph C. White didn't socialize much with his colleagues, but it seems no one had any idea he was troubled enough to do something like this. I wonder if there were missed signs that he was in distress, or if something tipped him over the edge. It's unsettling not knowing what caused such a senseless tragedy, and my heart goes out to Sandra's family and all those affected. The whole situation serves as a painful reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and support. Does anyone have thoughts on this or any insights into how this case might have changed policies or awareness regarding workplace violence?
Take care, everyone.
