I came across James Wilson Jr.’s case and something about it stuck out to me: his history of hitchhiking. Given his background, it's possible he might have seen himself as on some kind of mission due to his dementia. I wonder if any truck drivers or folks who usually travel those routes have reported seeing him? It's a long shot, but people who give rides to hitchhikers might have seen him and not realized. Maybe if more awareness is spread in those communities, someone might recall something useful. It’s also important to consider that in areas between Jacksonville and District Heights, there could be smaller towns that he might have passed through but haven’t been on anyone’s radar yet. It could be beneficial if we start discussions or posts in forums specifically used by cross-state travelers or long-haul truckers. Thoughts?
