James Wilson Jr., 78, went missing on May 31, 2018, from his home in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Wilson, a retired U.S. Marine who served during the Vietnam War and earned a Purple Heart, suffered from dementia, which significantly impacted his disappearance. He was last seen in the Country Club Road area and may have wandered off, possibly hitchhiking as he had done in the past.
