Has anyone else been thinking about how the justice system failed Jerome Hofaker and his family? It's chilling to see how the Gemini Twins, Senter and Testa, walked away without being charged for something so brutal. I can't imagine what it must have been like for Jerome's family and friends, knowing the people responsible were still out there, living their lives. These mobsters had a terrifying grip on New York back then, and it feels like they were almost untouchable. It's frustrating and devastating that someone so young lost their life and yet the system just couldn't, or wouldn't, hold the right people accountable. It really makes you wonder what more could have been done back then to prevent so much pain.
