The loyalty and trust between these men must have been so fragile, yet it was supposedly all shattered in a moment. I wonder if Coppola had any inkling of the setup amidst the chaos. His presence was reportedly unexpected due to an argument with Turano, which makes me question if he felt something was off that day. It makes me feel for his family and loved ones who must be haunted by these unanswered questions. Just a reminder of how dangerous these power struggles were, and maybe still are, in that world.
