I recently came across Daniel Scutaro’s case, and what really struck me was the sheer loyalty and camaraderie he seemed to have with Charles Mongitore. It’s incredibly tragic that someone so young got caught up in such a nefarious web just because of a colleague's predicament. One can only imagine the fear and betrayal Daniel might have felt in his final moments. I hope his family and friends have found some peace over the years. It's unsettling to think about how many innocent lives were tangled in the Gambino family's violence. Justice might have been served with the convictions, but it doesn’t bring back those lost. What a grim reminder of the times and how far we've come—hopefully moving towards a world where such ruthless acts are a thing of the past. Hoping Daniel's story continues to remind us of the value of life and the dangers of blindly following the wrong path.
