Anyone else find it strange that there was never any mention of search dogs being used in the initial search for William Morse? You'd think that with his coat being found on Hollow Road, they might've wanted to bring in some K-9 units to try and pick up a scent trail. It just seems like there could've been more done in those early days of the investigation. I’m not blaming anyone, but it’s frustrating to think about missed opportunities that might've helped shed light on his whereabouts. Plus, with how quickly the focus shifted to the son, I wonder if there were any other leads or clues that got overlooked. Just feels like there's a lot about this case that might've slipped through the cracks.
