I wonder if there were friends of Michael who knew about any trouble he might have been in or if he ever shared anything that could've been a warning sign. It's so important for communities to come together and talk about these things openly. Maybe if more people felt safe coming forward back then, the case could've moved faster. It's a reminder of how crucial it is for everyone to feel they can share what they know, no matter how small, and for authorities to build that trust. My thoughts are with Michael’s loved ones; hopefully, his story helps push for more communication and protection in neighborhoods facing similar issues.
