Has anyone else looked into the route Jose might have taken from Long Beach to the Bay Area? Given that he traveled I-5 frequently, I’m curious about how familiar he truly was with the stops along the way. With his early stage dementia, I’m wondering if he could have stopped somewhere he normally wouldn't or if he might have gotten sidetracked. Has anyone found any reports of sightings of him or his vehicle in areas off I-5 before they found his SUV in Blythe? It seems odd that he would end up so far east when he was headed north. Also, does anyone have info on why the vehicle might have been left in the desert? Any thoughts or theories?

Hey everyone, first time posting here but have been following this case closely and wanted to share something that's been on my mind. I keep thinking about the discovery of Jose Asuncion Gonzalez's vehicle in the desert north of Blythe. It's such a remote location and seems so out of the way if he was indeed heading towards the Bay Area. Does anyone else find it odd that the car was found there months after he went missing? I wonder if this means he got severely lost due to his dementia. It's just so baffling. Also, I can’t help but think about the possibility that someone else might have been involved. I know there's no evident foul play mentioned, but abandoning a car in such a deserted area seems strange. Maybe there's more to the story? Has anyone else done a deep dive on that area or heard of anything similar happening around there? Would love to hear your thoughts.
