Has anyone else been looking into the safety record of the University Nursing Home before Frank Mercado's death? It seems there were multiple complaints and violations even though they had a five-star rating from Medicare, which is just mind-boggling. How was it possible for them to maintain such a high rating with all these red flags? It really feels like the system is failing residents and their families. Watching this unfold, I can't help but think of how many other residents might be in similar, unsafe situations. It's so important that these facilities are held accountable and that meaningful changes are made. My heart goes out to Frank's family and others who have been impacted by similar tragedies. What do you all think needs to change to prevent this from happening again?
