I'm baffled by how often everyday scenarios can turn deadly, especially for those who serve and protect, even when they’re off-duty. The way Kenny Michael Duncan encountered his tragic fate is just gut-wrenching. As someone who just loved tinkering with motorcycles in his own driveway, it’s terrible that such a casual act led to such a violent outcome. This incident has me thinking deeply about the risks that correction officers face daily, even when they’re not in uniform. It’s a stark reminder that danger can find you anywhere. Duncan seems to have been a wonderful person and role model, full of life, whether at work or in the garage with his bikes. My heart goes out to his family, who have not only lost a loved one but who also have to grapple with the way he was taken from them. They must be incredibly proud of him, regardless.
