I've been thinking a lot about Jiang Ling lately. Just knowing she was so young and full of potential makes what happened feel even more unimaginable. I read that she was attending the ESL class because she was so eager to improve her English and build a life here. It breaks my heart to think that her aspirations were cut short so senselessly. The community in Endicott feels this loss deeply, and I hope they find some solace in remembering who she was, not just how she died. It's comforting to see how the American Civic Association has remained a beacon of hope and support after everything. Their dedication to honoring the victims and assisting immigrants truly shows the strength of the community. Sending love to the families and everyone touched by this tragedy.❤️

I’ve been following the heartbreaking story of the Binghamton shooting, and my thoughts are particularly with the family and friends of Jiang Ling. Reading about her dream of embracing a new life in America and the steps she was taking to achieve it is truly moving. It’s devastating that such a young life, filled with potential and hope, was cut short by this senseless act. The American Civic Association was such a key place for many in the immigrant community, offering opportunities and support to people like Jiang Ling who were striving for a better future. Her journey and effort to integrate and improve her English show just how dedicated she was to succeeding and helping her family. It's important for us to remember the humanity behind these stories. Jiang Ling, just like many others, was more than just a victim. She had aspirations, loved ones, and a whole future ahead of her. My heart goes out to all those who are grieving her loss and the losses of others that terrible day. May her memory, and those of all the victims, continue to inspire love and resilience in the community.
