Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about the role of communication (or the lack thereof) in Shem Walker's tragic case. From what I've gathered, it seems like much of the disaster could have been avoided if there'd been a clear identification of roles. Undercover operations, by their nature, are secretive, but shouldn't there be some protocol for identifying oneself when civilians are involved, especially to prevent these types of misunderstandings? It's heartbreaking to think that a veteran, someone who likely had a strong sense of duty and protection, lost his life while trying to safeguard his family. What are your thoughts on how such tragic outcomes might be prevented, especially regarding police procedures or community awareness? My heart goes out to the Walker family during what must have been unbearable years.
