Has anyone looked into the community response in Bushwick after Akeal's shooting? I read somewhere that the neighborhood held rallies and vigils in his memory. It really shows how much he was loved and the impact his unfortunate passing had on those around him. I can't imagine what his mom, Natasha, is going through, but it sounds like the community really rallied around her. It's surprising that with all this attention, there still haven't been any arrests. I hope that by continuing to keep his name out there and sharing these memories, someone will eventually come forward with the information needed to solve this case. Sending strength to all those who knew and cared for Akeal.
