It's really difficult to wrap my head around how someone can be capable of such a thing. I can't stop thinking about how terrifying it must have been for Pamela during those final moments in her own home. She was living her life, working as a teacher's assistant and surely planning for her future, only for it to be cut short so violently. It's infuriating that it took so long to bring those responsible to justice, but I commend the cold case squad for their determination in revisiting Pamela's case. Wanda's confession and sentence bring some comfort, but knowing what Pamela went through still breaks my heart. And to think John Torres played a role as well—what motivates someone to help cover up such a heinous act? I hope Pamela's family finds some peace in this resolution, and that they know many of us continue to hold them in our thoughts. It's a small comfort, I know, but spreading awareness and remembering Pamela can hopefully help prevent future tragedies like this.

I’ve been following Pamela Graddick’s case for quite some time, and one aspect that I can’t get out of my mind is the role her cellphone played in unraveling the truth. It’s fascinating how technology can aid justice in such a profound way. Considering the murder happened back in 2012, I wonder how much tech advances pushed this case forward. It’s encouraging to see the cold case squad finally piece things together, but it also makes me ponder how many other cases might be waiting for similar breakthroughs. My heart goes out to Pamela’s family and friends; finally getting answers after almost a decade must be both a relief and a reminder of their tremendous loss.
