It’s incredibly difficult to comprehend such random acts of violence, especially in small communities where people generally feel secure. What astounds me, though, is that Kurt Myers had such a low profile—it's like he was a ghost with barely any footprint. It's unnerving to think he harbored so much darkness without setting off any alarms beforehand. Harry’s friends and family must be going through such a tough time, trying to make sense of something so senseless. He was just getting a haircut, an ordinary part of his day, when he was taken so abruptly. It's moments like this that make you realize how fragile life can be and how cherished every moment with loved ones should be. I hope his family finds comfort in the strength of their community and in the memory of who Harry was, rather than the terrible way he was lost. For the survivors, especially those who were wounded, the road to healing must be incredibly daunting—I truly hope they have the support they need.
