I’ve been thinking about Lavon Anthony "Booder" Spaights Jr., and it just makes my heart ache for his family and loved ones. It’s hard to even imagine the kind of pain they must have gone through during the trial, especially knowing how traumatic the whole ordeal must’ve been for them. It breaks my heart that Lavon was taken so young and so suddenly. I’ve been following the trial of Sean Hunter, and something that really stuck with me is how the witnesses, especially Lavon’s girlfriend, played such a crucial role in the proceedings. I can't imagine the bravery and strength it took for them to come forward and testify. It's a lot to ask of someone who’s been through such a harrowing experience, and their courage should be commended. I wish the best for Lavon’s family and the community as they continue to cope with this immense loss, and I hope they feel some sense of justice knowing that Lavon’s story was heard and acknowledged in court. It’s a reminder of how important it is for communities to come together and support one another in the face of such tragedies.
