I've been following this case since it started, and I can't stop thinking about the community impact of Marquis Brewer's death. It’s devastating to see how violence has become a part of everyday life for so many in the Bronx. The fact that this happened in front of the Highbridge Houses just adds another layer to the struggles faced by residents there. From what I've read, the public housing projects have been trying to improve safety measures, but incidents like this highlight that much more needs to be done. Did anyone hear if there's been any new community initiatives or changes proposed following this tragedy? It would be a small comfort to know something positive might come out of this senseless act. My heart goes out to Marquis’s family and friends who have to navigate life without him.
