I’ve been thinking a lot about the life Darnell B. Fields, aka Bobby Womack, could have lived if things didn’t end the way they did. It's so hard to grasp that it’s been years since that tragic night in June 2010, and yet there’s still no resolution or answers for his loved ones. If you’re in Binghamton, or if you knew him, you probably remember how lively and full of passion he was. Seeing his case still open is just a constant reminder of how quickly everything can change. It’s deeply unsettling that no witnesses have stepped forward with crucial information. I sometimes wonder if people are too afraid or if they simply don’t realize the significance of what they might have seen or heard. It’s sad how Darnell’s loved ones live with this uncertainty and the hope that someday justice will prevail. Surely, there's got to be someone out there who holds the key to this case. For anybody who might have been around Webster Court that night or knew the people Darnell associated with, I urge you to reflect on anything that might help. Even the tiniest detail could bring the authorities closer to ending this chapter and providing some sense of peace for his family. Let’s remember that behind every unsolved case are real people whose lives were forever altered. If we can help, it’s our responsibility to do so.

I’ve been following the case of Darnell B. Fields, also known as Bobby Womack, and something that's been on my mind is the call that came in around 12:30 a.m. It got me wondering, who made that call? Were they a passerby or someone closer to the scene? It’s chilling to think how quiet and ordinary the night might have been just before everything changed. It must be enormously difficult for Bobby’s family and friends to live with the unknowns and the fact that there hasn't been an arrest yet. I hope that by revisiting these details, someone might recall noticing something unusual or remember a detail that seemed insignificant at the time. Law enforcement keeps stressing the importance of public tips, so sharing even the smallest observations could make a difference. If anyone reading this was around 12 Webster Court that night, please don’t hesitate to speak up, for Bobby’s sake.
