Hey all, I've been following Mendy Gashier's case ever since it happened back in 2014, and the recent developments with Frank Brandon's charges have really got me thinking about her living situation. It seems like she might have been squatting in that vacant apartment at the Saint Nicholas Houses. This makes me wonder if her precarious living condition could have somehow made her more vulnerable. I can't help but feel a deep sense of sadness for Mendy. She was so young and at that age, you're just trying to find your place in the world. It just underscores how tough things can be for some folks, and the risks that come with not having a stable roof over your head. It’s easy to forget what those struggles are like when you’re not facing them yourself. I hope one day we'll learn more about her background and what led her to be in such a situation. It might not change anything now, but it could shed some light on the challenges she faced and maybe help in preventing such tragedies in the future. Sending love and prayers to her loved ones as they continue to seek justice.
