I wanted to touch on the role of communities in the aftermath of tragedies like Aaron Utsey's murder. It's truly devastating to witness such a young life ended so abruptly. The community’s outcry for better resources and security is not only understandable but necessary. Public housing areas like the Howard Houses often seem forgotten until something tragic happens. It’s encouraging, though, to see people like Tony Herbert stepping up to demand change. Community-led initiatives, such as job training, could make a big difference. It’s a shame that it often takes the death of a promising young person to highlight these issues. My heart goes out to Aaron’s friends and family, and I hope we see some real changes to prevent future tragedies.
