I've been reading through the details of Mary E. Whitaker's case, and one thing that really stands out to me is the role of surveillance footage in bringing about justice. It's incredible yet unsettling how much we rely on technology for evidence these days. In this case, it was critical in tracing Jonathan Conklin's movements after the crime, especially when he used Whitaker's credit card in Erie, PA. It just makes you think about how every little action can leave a trail, for better or worse. I'm grateful for the technology that helped bring closure, but it’s haunting to realize how it all unfolded. My heart goes out to Mary's family and friends who had to endure this tragic loss. It's clear she touched many lives with her talent and kindness.
