Hey everyone, I came across some interesting information about the DHC-2 Beaver plane involved in the Talkeetna crash. I read that this specific type of aircraft is known for its ability to handle rugged, remote areas, which makes the crash even more puzzling to me. With Layson's four decades of flying experience, it's so unusual that a flight like this would end in tragedy. The weather in these areas can change quickly, and I wonder if anyone has any insights on how sudden shifts could affect even seasoned pilots. From what I've gathered, equipment and experience sometimes can't predict or prevent every possible outcome in such extreme terrains. Does anyone have thoughts on similar cases or insights into how these variables could have played a role?
