Has anyone else been following the case of James Kewambi Collins? I've been reading up on it, and it's just so disheartening to see how many unsolved cases Baton Rouge has, including James's. I've been thinking a lot about the families who are left without answers, and I can only imagine the frustration and sorrow they must feel. James was someone's son, maybe a father or brother, and he deserves justice like anyone else.
It seems like the lack of witness cooperation is a big issue here. I understand that people might be scared or hesitant to get involved, but there must be someone out there who has crucial information. Speaking up could mean the world for James’s family, who have been waiting for closure for so long.
I've seen a few articles talking about using genetic genealogy to solve old cases, which is a fascinating and promising development. If anyone in Baton Rouge has information, even if it seems small or insignificant, I hope they find the courage to come forward. Maybe we could spread the word and keep the conversation going—every bit of awareness helps. It’s just so sad to see another case go cold, and I sincerely hope someday we'll see justice for James and other victims.
