Does anyone else find it particularly disturbing how bullet-stricken the surrounding area was? Sean Overton's tragic death has really shaken the Astoria community, but I'm haunted by the fact that this shooting happened in such a public and populated area. A second-story window was shattered, and even a $.99 store across the street got hit. It's terrifying to think how much more damage could have been done. I can’t help but wonder if there were kids playing nearby or people innocently shopping for Easter. Why hasn't anyone come forward with more information yet? Maybe people are scared, but for Sean’s sake and his family’s peace, I hope someone finds the courage to talk. This senseless violence needs to stop, and the person responsible should be held accountable. Sending love to Sean’s family and everyone grappling with this loss. Stay safe, Astoria.
