Hey everyone,
I've been following the Herbert Goodnight case, and something that's been bothering me is the potential footage from the camera across the street. Does anyone know if there were ever any updates on what it showed or if it even worked at the time? With technology being such a critical part of investigations these days, it's frustrating to think there might have been crucial evidence sitting right there and just out of reach due to technical issues or failures. I can't imagine what Lorraine and the rest of Herbert's family must be going through, waiting for answers that might never come. It’s a tragic situation all around. Let’s hope someone comes forward with new info or that the police get the breakthrough they need to solve this case. Anyone with more insights, please share.
Stay safe, everyone.
I've been thinking a lot about the surveillance camera across from the apartment where Herbert Goodnight was killed. I can't imagine the frustration if that camera, potentially the key to finding out what happened, didn't capture anything useful due to technical issues or just being pointed in the wrong direction. It’s a sobering reminder of how so many elements need to align just right in investigations, and sometimes that doesn’t happen. I really hope someone in that neighborhood saw something and eventually comes forward. Lorraine's pain must be unimaginable, and she deserves answers. It's difficult to see cases like these hit a standstill, especially when they leave families in limbo. Let's hope there's a break soon. Anyone else have thoughts on the importance of surveillance in solving cases like this?
Has anyone else been following the case of Herbert Goodnight in Albany? One thing that really bothers me is the lack of usable footage from the camera across the street. It's frustrating to think that there was potential evidence right there, but it might have yielded nothing significant. I can't imagine how devastating this must be for Lorraine and their family. This case has been cold for years now, and it feels like every possible lead needs to be chased down. Given the reward offered by the Crime Stoppers, I'm hoping someone out there will finally come forward with information. It’s such a difficult situation, and so many people are being left without closure. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. I wonder what more could be done to bring more attention to these kinds of unresolved cases in Albany. Thoughts?
