Does anyone else feel like the lack of witnesses in Hector Nieves' case is really puzzling? I mean, Belmont is a pretty busy area, especially around 10:50 p.m. You'd think someone might have seen or heard something. It's so frustrating thinking about how his family must feel with no answers after all this time. I hope maybe someone who was there that night will eventually remember something important and come forward. It's so important for his loved ones to get the closure they need. Keep the faith, everyone, and let’s hope for a break in this case soon.

I've been following Hector Nieves' case since it happened, and it's so frustrating that there haven't been any breakthroughs. What struck me recently was learning about the community's reaction in the days following his murder. People in the Belmont area say they remember Hector as someone who always greeted his neighbors warmly, and now they live with a heightened sense of fear and uncertainty. It's truly unsettling how a crime like this can leave such a deep scar, not just on the victim’s family, but on the entire neighborhood. I can't imagine how his loved ones feel, not knowing what happened and who could have done this. Has anyone else heard about any community efforts or local vigils that might have helped bring some solace to those affected by his tragic loss? I'm hoping there are ways the community is staying united and vigilant despite this tough ordeal.
