Hi everyone,
I'm relatively new to the forum, but I've been following Creston's case and wanted to share something that's been on my mind. One of the questions that keeps popping up for me is about the lack of surveillance footage or witness accounts from that night. East River Houses is a pretty populated area, and it's hard to believe that nobody saw anything or that no cameras captured something vital.
I read somewhere that residents often feel hesitant to come forward due to fear of retaliation, which is an issue in many communities, but I wish there was a way to assure them of their safety. Creston's family has been through so much, and it's painful to think any vital information might be kept under wraps due to fear. It hits hard knowing that the community holds potential keys to solving this tragedy but struggles with the understandable hesitance to step forward.
If anyone has insights into how situations like these are managed, maybe we can brainstorm some ideas or support methods to encourage more community cooperation. In the meantime, I'll keep hoping for a break in the case.
Sending thoughts to Creston's loved ones.
