Has anyone here been following the Almame Drammeh case from Bronx? I feel so deeply for his family and friends after such a senseless tragedy. I recently read a bit about the wider community response after his murder, and it seems like it really shook the neighborhood. People have been talking a lot about needing stronger community ties and support networks in the area to help prevent these kinds of situations. It’s sad that it often takes something this horrible to inspire change. If anyone has any updates about community meetings or initiatives around gun violence in the Bronx post-2015, it’d be great to keep the conversation going and honor Almame’s memory in that way.
