I've been following Michael Nolan's case closely and something that struck me was the level of community support that blossomed in the aftermath of his tragic death. Despite the horror and senselessness of the situation, it's somewhat comforting to see how the Yonkers community has come together to support Nolan's family. The establishment of the Michael Nolan Scholarship Fund is such a meaningful way to honor his memory. It must be a comfort, albeit a small one, for the family to see people coming together to celebrate Michael's life and the potential he held. The softball tournaments and fundraisers are beautiful ways to channel grief into something positive and ensure that his legacy lives on. I think it shows the power of community in the face of tragedy and how love can rise above violence. My heart goes out to the Nolan family and all who knew and loved Michael. ❤️
