Has anyone else been following the case of Peyton Manwaring? It's so tragic, and my heart goes out to his family. I was particularly struck by the community's response. The candlelight vigil and peace march really show how much Peyton and Marcus meant to the people around them. It’s moving to see so many coming together in support, but it also highlights how senseless and out of place this violence was in their lives. These young men were just trying to carve out a future, and to think that their lives could be disrupted like this is truly unsettling. I just can’t understand how anyone could have such a disregard for life. I really hope that the increased attention brings someone forward with information to help solve this case. If anyone has updates or thoughts, please share. Peyton, Marcus, and their families deserve justice.

October 2023 Hey everyone, just wanted to share some thoughts on the unsolved case of Peyton Manwaring from Queens. It's been almost eight years since that tragic Halloween night in 2015, and I can't help but think about Peyton's family, especially his father, Anthony. Losing not one but two sons in such a short time seems unbearable. There’s something that stood out to me about this case. The police mentioned considering a drug-related motive because of the marijuana found at the scene, but everything shared about Peyton and Marcus portrays them as young men with bright futures ahead. It’s troubling how quickly assumptions can be made based on such evidence. I attended the candlelight vigil back in 2015, and the community’s love and support were incredibly moving. Yet, here we are, years later, still without answers. It really makes you wonder about the dedication and resources put into these investigations. I hope the authorities won't give up on Peyton and Marcus, and that the community continues pushing for clarity and justice. It's imperative for the families who have been carrying this pain for so long. If anyone has insights or has heard anything from the past few years, your voice could be crucial in bringing a breakthrough. Let’s keep Peyton's and Marcus’s stories alive and continue to hope for resolution. Sending strength to the Manwaring and Mendez families.
