Has anyone looked into the potential connections between this case and other unsolved murders in New Orleans around that time? It seems like there might be a pattern with this level of brutality involving multiple victims. My heart goes out to Lionel and Breon's families, especially with the legacy Lionel left in the Mardi Gras Indian community. The thought that their unborn child was also a victim is just so gut-wrenching. I wonder if there are any new leads that perhaps align with other cases that remain under the radar. The fact that the community has still not found closure is just unbearable. Maybe pooling resources or forming a community effort for justice could push the investigation forward. Every bit of insight or information, no matter how small, could be crucial in catching whoever is responsible.
