Has anyone else been following the details about Alfredo's attempts to turn his life around before he was killed? It's really sad to see someone try to make positive changes and fall victim to such harsh circumstances. I read that he was in a residential drug-treatment program, which makes you wonder about what could've been had things played out differently. It's heartbreaking for his family and friends who probably held on to the hope that he was on a better path. In these neighborhoods, it feels like once you're in, it's incredibly hard to escape that cycle, doesn't it? Sending love and strength to those who knew him. It's hard not to think about the potential Alfredo had, which makes his loss even more significant.
