I’ve been following Ray Jr. Smith’s case for a while, and it’s just so tough to see another family suffering due to the violence in New Orleans. It really hits close to home when you think about how many families are in similar situations, waiting years for any kind of progress. What I find so inspiring, though, is the determination of the community and the strength of Ray’s family in seeking justice. I think it’s amazing how the public has been encouraged to come forward with tips and how services like Crimestoppers can make a difference in gaining new leads. It truly shows that when community members band together, they can really support investigations, even when things seem so difficult. If anyone has been holding back information, now's the time to speak up. Every bit could help bring peace to Ray’s loved ones.
