I've been following the case of Timothy Brown's tragic death and can't stop thinking about the broader implications surrounding gun access in Rochester. When you look at the fact that Willie Frazier was only charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, it really makes me question the regulatory measures in place for gun ownership. How did someone with a firearm end up in such a situation, especially in an area that seems to be struggling with escalating violence? I can’t imagine the pain that Timothy's friends and family are going through right now. It's also troubling that this incident was one among many during that period. Three shootings in one night? Clearly, this is not an isolated problem, and it just makes the need for comprehensive community safety measures feel even more urgent. I hope this case sparks some real conversations about gun violence prevention so that we can prevent more families from having to endure such grief. What are your thoughts on how the community can come together to tackle this?
